Jeffersonville, Indiana - Funeral services for Betty Jean Kee are Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home at 11:30 a.m. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, 10 a.m. until service time. Interment is at Mt. Olivet Cemetery and her son-in-law,  Conrad Moorer is the officiant.

 Mrs. Kee, age 93, died peacefully Thursday, February 6, 2025, at home. She was born on April 27, 1931, in Clarksville, Tenn. to Will and Agnes Deason Choate. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She truly enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She always wanted the best for everyone. She was involved with Church activities and teaching Bible classes in her younger years. She loved traveling with family, get-togethers, dinners, ball games, and reading. She was a devoted wife, great mother and wonderful grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her daughter, Janice (Patrick) of Belleview, Florida,  her son, Barry Kee (Patsy) of Pensacola, Florida, her son-in-law, Conrad Moorer of Jeffersonville, Ind.; five grandchildren, Katie Gravante (Jeremy), Jason Ross, Todd Moorer (Kim), Richard Ross, Valerie Bates (Randy); nine great-grandchildren, Torin, Aidan and Keegan Ross; Brody Gravante; Genevieve, Cora and Lottie Moorer; Alden and Keelynn Bates.

 She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Richard Elvis Kee; her daughter, Cynthia Moorer, her parents, her brothers, Lonnie Choate, Lloyd Choate, James Edward Choate and sisters Hazel Suiter, Dorothy Suiter and Elizabeth York.
