From the Feb 25, 2025 e-EditionHUNTINGDON - Mrs. Betty Yarbrough Brooks, 88, of Huntingdon, Tennessee, died Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at Huntingdon Health and Rehab.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. Friday, February 21, 2025 at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Interment will be private. Brother Scott Carter is officiating.
The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Friday from 9:00 AM until times of services at 11:00 AM.
Mrs. Betty was born May 31, 1936 to the late Hess Yarbrough and Ollie Yarbrough. She is also preceded in death by one brother, William Compton.
She is survived by one nephew, Lynn (Wanda) Compton and two nieces, Judy (Terry) Noles and Nelda (Gary) Davidson, all of Huntingdon, Tennessee.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Barren Springs Cemetery ; C/O Mike Cooper 217 Stigall Street Camden, Tennessee 38320.
