From the Mar 18, 2025 e-EditionMrs. Billie Faye Spain, 91, of Huntingdon died Wednesday, March 5 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon.
Graveside Services were Wednesday, March 12 at Lavinia Methodist Cemetery with Bro. Nathan Horton officiating.
Mrs. Spain was born to the late Willie Thomas and Velma White Mangrum on April 22, 1933, in Scotts Hill, Tennessee. She was a secretary at First United Methodist Church, where she was a member. Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Spain, a sister, Louise Barnes, and two brothers, R.T. Mangrum, and Pete Mangrum.
She is survived by two daughters, Vicki Paris of Bells and Lori Adams (Jerry) of Huntingdon, a brother, Harold Mangrum, of Oakland, Tennessee, a granddaughter, Leslie Young (Jeremy) of Friendship, two grandsons, Brian Adams (Julie) of Humboldt and Kyle Adams (Jessica) of Huntingdon, and six great-grandchildren, Drake Young, Lydia Young, Briley Adams, Hayes Adams, Weston Adams, and Kase Adams.
