Bobby D. Pate

McKENZIE, Tenn. - Funeral services for Bobby D Pate are Friday, March 21, 2025 at 11 a.m. at McKenzie Church of Christ.

The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at 5 p.m. -8 p.m. and Friday 10: a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Hinkledale Cemetery.

Mr. Pate, 76 years old, died at Baptist Memorial Hospital Carroll Co. on March 16, 2025. He was a retired police chief for the City of McKenzie, a member of McKenzie Church of Christ and an Army veteran.

He was born on June 26, 1948, in McKenzie to Johnnie and Nell Stewart Pate.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria Kee Pate, two sons, Jeremy (Gina) Pate and Joel (Amanda) Pate, all of McKenzie, a daughter, Nicole (Marcus) Williamson of Clarksville, and thirteen grandchildren, Emma (Austin) Anderson, Sydney Pate, Lydia Pate, Sophie Pate, Olivia Pate, Jaden Pate, Willow Pate, Beau Pate, Gavin Hicks, Nevaeh Williamson, Hailee Williamson Zachary Clark and Gracie Clark and two great-grandchildren, Jachsyn and Lily.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, James “Jim” Pate, his sister, Frances Helen Vick and two grandchildren, Drake Pate and Heaven Williamson.

In Lieu of flowers the family is asking that memorial be made to Carroll County Humane Society.
