Bruceton Senior Class Hosts Blacktop Showdown
September 26 at Carroll County Civic Center
HUNTINGDON — Gearheads, custom vehicle enthusiasts, and community supporters will gather at the Carroll County Civic Center on Saturday, September 26, for the "Blacktop Showdown" car show. The event directly benefits the Bruceton Senior Class of 2027, with all proceeds going toward Project Graduation.
The open-entry show welcomes all types of vehicles—including classics, imports, lifted or slammed trucks, side-by-sides (SXS), and custom builds.
Event Highlights & Activities
- Audio Demos & Vendors: Live sound system displays and local business booths.
- Food & Prizes: On-site food trucks, event raffles, and competitive awards presentations.
- Admission: Free for all spectators.
Registration and Schedule
Gates open rain or shine from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at 201 Mustang Dr., Huntingdon, TN 38344. Vehicle registration is available for $20 in advance or $25 on the day of the event.

Paris Landing Arts and Crafts Festival is September 12-13
The 26th annual Paris Lakeway Kiwanis Club Arts and Crafts Festival at Paris Landing State Park features over 115 local and regional crafters displaying and selling their handmade and hand-crafted items. The setting at Paris Landing State Park provides visitors with great views while shopping. There will also be food and beverage vendors, as well as a petting zoo. Admission and parking are free.
