Bethel Physician Assistant Students Provide Hygiene Products to Schools
From the Mar 3, 2026 e-Edition
GLEASON (February 27) — The didactic students of the Bethel University Physician Assistant Program participated in a Community Outreach initiative, visiting local schools to present to 4th- and 5th-grade students. Presentation topics include dental and oral health, nutrition and healthy eating, handwashing and personal hygiene, exercise, and overall health and wellness.
The schools visited were: Dorothy & Noble Harrelson Elementary, Henry Elementary, Dresden Middle School, and Gleason School.
As part of this outreach effort, each elementary student received a goody bag containing items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, dental floss, shampoo, soap, and other hygiene essentials. These items are generously collected and donated by local businesses to support the students and promote healthy habits.
