Bulldogs Defeat Bradford
From the Apr 28, 2026 e-EditionGLEASON (April 23) — Gleason High School baseball hosted Bradford Thursday and took an early lead for an 8-3 win.
The visiting Red Devils struck first with a run in the top of the first, but the Bulldogs jumped ahead with four in the home half. Bradford plated a run in the second, and Gleason answered with a pair. Both teams pushed across a run in the fifth, and the Bulldogs added another in the sixth.
Bulldog Trey Mayo was 2-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored. Drake Lehmkuhl was 1-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored. Ty Keeling was 1-for-2 with two walks, two runs scored and a stolen base. Ashton Morgan was 1-for-3 with a sacrifice fly, two RBIs and a run scored. Parker Morgan and Caleb Jones were both 1-for-3 with a run scored and two stolen bases. Brody Sanders was 0-for-2 with a walk, an RBI, a run scored and two stolen bases. Brock Dilday was 0-for-1 with a walk and a stolen base.
Red Devil Trevor Harrington was 2-for-3 with a walk, an RBI and a stolen base. Brodie McDaniel was 1-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base. Jaxon Street was 1-for-3 with a run scored and a stolen base. Braxton Lynch was 1-for-3 with a run scored. Hayden White was 1-for-3. Luke Clifton was 1-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base. Gunner Skerrett was 0-for-1 with a walk, a run scored and two stolen bases.
Bryce Pettit earned the win for Gleason, allowing three runs (two earned) on seven hits while walking three and striking out six in six and two-thirds innings. Ty Keeling pitched the final third of an inning, allowing no runs, hits or walks with one strikeout.
Hayden White took the loss for Bradford, allowing seven runs (six earned) on five hits while walking four and striking out five in five innings. Braxton Lynch threw the final frame, allowing one unearned run on two hits while walking none.
