Bulldogs Defeat Dresden in District 14A Tourney

BETHEL UNIVERSITY (February 20) — Gleason Bulldogs struck early and often against the Dresden Lions in the District 14A tournament held at Bethel University on February 20. While Gleason, with its senior-heavy team, struck early, Dresden was not going away easily, leaving Gleason only a nine-point advantage at the end of the contest.
Gleason scored 18 in the first compared to Dresden’s 4. Gleason scored 18, 11, 9, and 11 in the respective quarters. Dresden scored 4, 12, 17, and 7.
For Gleason, Drake Lehmkuhl had 17 points, Kade Sawyers had 12, Miami Woolridge had 9, Brody Sanders had 4, Parker Morgan had 3, and Ashton Morgan and Tristan Dilday had 2.
Dresden’s scoring was led by Jacoby Sutton with 12, Landon Floyd and Cannon Floyd each with 8, Ayden Flora with 6, Landon Cantrell with 3, and Grey Forrester with 3.
