Byars is Huntingdon Homecoming Queen

HUNTINGDON (October 11) — Delaney Byars was crowned Huntingdon High School Homecoming Queen Friday during halftime of the Mustangs win.

Byars, a senior, is the daughter of Chad and Kim Byars. She was escorted by Jace Crossett, grandson of Jimmy and Paula Crossett.

The other senior representative on the court was Claire Cary, daughter of Mike and Susan Cary, escorted by E.J. Lewis, son of Jason and Heather Lewis.

Junior representatives were Korra Doyle, daughter of Hunter and Kerri Arnold and Zach Doyle, escorted by Will Lewis, son of Mark and Kristy Lewis, and Kylie Tippitt, daughter of Brannon and Summer Tippitt, escorted by Fisher Stokes, son of Paul and Stacy Stokes.

Sophomore representatives were Brooklyn Barnhill, daughter of Amanda Smith, escorted by Carson Watters, son of Brett and Krystal Watters, and Katherine Meggs, daughter of Tim and Kristy Meggs, escorted by Charlie Logan, son of Larissa Logan.

Freshman representatives were Grier Bartholomew, daughter of Shane and Julie Bartholomew, escorted by Garvin Kee, son of Carl and Kim Johnson and Stacey Kee, and Destani Whitson, daughter of Jennifer Billings, escorted by Kainan Moore, son of James and Konstance Moore.

Huntingdon High School Cheerleaders presented flowers to the homecoming court. AB Club President Tylan Johnsonl crowned Byars queen and AB Club Vice Presidents Cayden Brewer and Brooklynn Pearson presented her with flowers.
