Bypass Construction to Close Trezevant Street

The U.S. 79 (State Route 76) highway construction bypassing the business district of Trezevant will cause the closing of a city street, according to the Town of Trezevant.
Through traffic on Meadowbrook Dr. will be closed in the near future between Railroad St. and Big Buck Road. Access to residences will remain. Meadowbrook Rd residents to the west of the new roadway crossing will utilize the west end of Meadowbrook Drive back to Railroad Street to US 79. Residents to the east will utilize Big Buck Road and Ridgedale Cove. Residents will utilize a new detour drive and utilize Meadowbrook Drive back to the west. Signage will be installed notifying motorists.
