A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of Bruceton Funeral Home at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 14, 2026.
The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Bruceton Funeral Home Saturday, February 14, 2026, from 10:00 A.M. until time of service.
Mrs. Harwell was born on September 3, 1947, in St. Petersburg, Florida, to the late Robert Butler Loveall and Naomi Loveall Parks. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Ada Faye McMackins, her nephew, Tim McMackins, and her great-niece, Tonya McMackins.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Dolan Harwell; her son, John (Jennifer) Beasley of Camden, Tenn.; her grandson, Colt Beasley of Camden, Tenn.; and her special friend, Carol Sue French of Hollow Rock, Tenn.
Carolyn was a gifted writer and a published poet, often writing poems for her family and special friends. She was also a brown-belt karate practitioner and enjoyed training in martial arts with her husband, Dolan, for many years. She also had a great love for animals and the many cherished pets in her life.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Carroll County Humane Society.
