Carroll Arts Presents ‘A Mistletoe Christmas’

McKENZIE (December 4) — Carroll Arts, Inc. presented ‘A Mistletoe Christmas’ Thursday at the historic Park Theatre to a packed house.
The annual show featured musical performances by local entertainers, headlined by McKenzie Elementary School’s Rebel Singers, directed by Joanna Turner. The kids performed “All I Want for Christmas is You” and “Feliz Navidad”.
Melissa Herris and accompanist Dr. Keith Herris performed “Emmanuel” and “A Baby Changes Everything”.
Gina Rainey performed “Santa Baby”.
Veronica Giaimo Davis performed “We Need a Little Christmas” and “My Grown Up Christmas List”.
Dana Wyatt and Larry Bullion performed “The Angels Cried” and “Tennessee Christmas”.
Isaac Stephen Walker performed “Blue Christmas” and “Santa Claus is Coming to Town”.
Brittany Washburn Martin performed “Hallelujah” and “Good to Be Bad”.
The music concluded with an audience sing-along of “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer”, “Frosty the Snowman”, “What Child is This?” and “Here Comes Santa Claus”, led by all of the performers.
The event ended with an appearance by Santa Claus. The kids in attendance (and the Rebel Singers) were invited to visit the jolly old elf on stage.
McKenzie Mayor Ryan Griffin was on hand to welcome all and officially kick off McKenzie’s Hometown Christmas.
