Carroll County Fair Hosts Annual Dog Show

HUNTINGDON (August 15) — The annual Carroll County Fair Dog Show was Saturday morning in the civic center. There were 13 dogs competing in 15 categories.
Stella Higdon, the newly-crowned Carroll County Fairest of the Fair, presented trophies and ribbons to the winners.

Randall Dunn Memorial Trophy: Avery
The Randall Dunn Memorial Trophy is given in memory of Randall Dunn, a police officer who worked for the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office and the Huntingdon Police Department. He trained dogs and was a K-9 officer. Before his death, he also served as a judge in the dog show.
The award is selected and presented by Dunn's daughter, Sherry Smith, based on the bond she sees between dog and handler.
