Carroll County Teens Place in Miss Tennessee Pageants

JACKSON (July 19) — Four young women represented Carroll County on the big stage last week, competing in the Miss Iris Tennessee Teen and the Miss Tennessee Teen Volunteer pageants at the Carl Perkins Civic Center. Two went home this weekend as fourth runners-up to the new titleholders.

Madelynn Pewitt, of McKenzie, won fourth runner-up in Miss Iris Tennessee Teen 2027. Pewitt competed as Miss Henry County Iris Teen Volunteer.

Stella Higdon, a senior at Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central High School, won fourth runner-up in Miss Tennessee Teen Volunteer 2027. She also won the Community Service Award for her gourmet bakery charity, Cedar Street Sweets. Higdon competed as Miss Hub City.

Placing in the Top 15 of the Miss Tennessee Teen Volunteer Pageant were McKenzie's Addison Davis (Miss Paris) and Carleigh Lunn (Miss Fall Fest).
