Celebration of the Arts
From the May 7, 2024 e-Edition
Carroll Arts sponsored an important event on April 27 with the assistance of the Dixie Carter Performing Arts and Academic Enrichment Center. All high schools in the county were invited to send visual arts and performers for the event. Proms and other previously scheduled events prevented some from attending, but the talent shown in the celebration was outstanding.
At 6:30 p.m., beautiful artwork was displayed in the Gallery. Then, at 7 p.m., talented ensembles and soloists (both instrumentalists and singers) performed for the parents and friends assembled. The Dixie provided a lovely reception for all involved. This is an annual event, so watch for it next spring.
