McKenzie Chamber Announces Incoming Board, Award Winners
From the Jun 4, 2024 e-EditionMcKENZIE (June 3) — As the fiscal year comes to a close, the McKenzie Chamber of Commerce and Industry announced its new slate of officers along with incoming members to its board of directors. To assume the role of President/Chairman is Jason R. Martin - The McKenzie Banner, Vice-Chair is Myra Carlock - Bethel University and Secretary is Shawna Fowler - McKenzie Banking Company. Joining the board are new members Matt Aird - Lewis, Aird and Associates, Ashley Horn – L.I. Smith & Associates, and Madison Endres – West TN Public Utility District. Current members of the board are Will Record - Dynamix Physical Therapy, Drew Beeler - Hometown Hangout, and Christy Williams - Regions Bank.
The Board also announced its award winners. Business Person of the Year - Drew Beeler: recognized as having set a standard of accomplishment in both business and the community. Business of the Year - Hometown Health Clinic: a business that has achieved remarkable results and accomplishments within their industry and moved their company forward. The business exemplifies excellent corporate citizenship by giving back to the local community. Non-Profit of the Year - Overflow Church: in recognition of its creativity and innovation in building a sustainable organization, excellence in teamwork, outstanding contribution to the community, and accomplishment of the organization’s mission statement. Chamber Champion - Tessa Kyle: an enthusiastic and connected volunteer from a member company who strongly believes in the importance of and benefits of the Chamber. Lifetime Achievement - Phil Williams: recognizes an individual who has demonstrated personal and business success. Williams has had outstanding achievements in operating his business for 48 years and is a leader in the community.
Award winners will be recognized during the Chamber Annual Banquet on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Bethel University Vera Low Center at 6 p.m.
