Mr. Birdwell was born in Huntingdon, TN on November 18, 1954, to James P. and Pauline Harrison Birdwell. He was a butcher and farmer by trade.
He is survived by his wife, Leticia Birdwell of Greenfield, a son, Roger Birdwell of Greenfield, three stepsons, John Oliva of Lexington, TN, Jason and Chris Rakin of Jackson, a daughter Regina Stem of Tullahoma and stepdaughter Sofia Oliva of Memphis, on sister Brenda( Billy) Harrison of McKenzie, Sale (Kathy) Birdwell of McKenzie and Joe Birdwell of Gleason and his grandchildren, Bethany (Gavin) Elam, Emalin Birdwell, Landon Birdwell, Landon Birdwell, Haydon Birdwell, Haydon Rakin, Emma Rakin, Jason Rakin, Jr, Ava Rakin, Colton Rakin and Anna Blankenship.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother James Harold “Pete” Birdwell.
