Clay Target Shoot to Benefit Children’s Christmas Program
From the Sep 9, 2025 e-Edition
McKENZIE — A clay target shoot at the Carroll County Shooting Sports Park in Huntingdon will benefit the annual Shop With A First Responder children’s Christmas program hosted by the McKenzie Police, Fire, and Rescue departments, plus TWRA.
McKenzie first responders host the annual event to purchase Christmas gifts for needy children in the McKenzie area. They work with the McKenzie Special School District and Beta Sigma Phi to identify children who might otherwise not have gifts under their tree at Christmas.
First responders raise money throughout the year for this event.
Saturday, September 13 is the shoot to raise money for the program. Flights are 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. for teams of four. Individual shooters can participate for $60.
For more information or to pre-register, phone Lacey Lane at 731-415-0641.
