From the Mar 18, 2025 e-EditionMcKENZIE, Tenn. - Funeral services for Clifford B. Matlock are Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Tuesday at 11 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Mr. Matlock, 93, died at his residence on Saturday, March 15, 2025. He was a McKenzie First Cumberland Presbyterian Church member, a Marine veteran, and a retired millwright at Dupont, New Johnsonville. He was born April 3, 1931
He is survived by his son, Steven (Barbara) Matlock of McKenzie, a sister, Stella Matlock of Camden, one granddaughter, Jennifer (Greg) Hart, two great-grandchildren, Jason Wafford and Joshua (Alison) Wafford, and four great-grandchildren, Addison, Miley, Aurora, and Luca.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Vollie and Ollie Matlock, his wife, Marjorie Matlock, a sister, Cynda Golden and two brothers, Thomas Matlock and John William Matlock.
