Carroll County Commission to Vote on FY 2024-25 Budget
From the Jun 4, 2024 e-EditionThe Carroll County Commission meets June 11 to discussion and approve the Fiscal Year 2024-25 Budget. This budget consists of three resolutions; 6-06-2024 making appropriations to non-profit organizations, 6-07-2024 fixing the tax levy, and 6-08-2024 making appropriations to the various funds, departments, institutions, offices, and agencies of Carroll County.
There is a resolution to appoint Stacey McCaleb as the Carroll County Finance Director. This position was created with the recent private act creating a centralized financial department for the county.
In other business, the Commission to vote on the following appointments Vicky Williams to the Carroll County Electric Department Board and Jessica Watson to the Carroll County Library Board. Also on the agenda is Resolution 6-04-2024 to establish an Opioid Abatement Committee. The appointed members of the Committee Dr. Jay Phipps (Chairman), Joey Simmons, Spiridon Roditis, Sheriff Andy Dickson, Judge Brent Bradberry, Robyn Hatler, Heather Foster, and Brad Hurley.
12. Resolution 6-05-2024 – Resolution to Amend the FY 2023-24 Budget.
13. Resolution 6-06-2024 – Resolution Making Appropriations to Non-Profit Organizations of Carroll County, Tennessee, for the Fiscal Year Beginning July 1, 2024 and Ending June 30, 2025.
14. Resolution 6-07-2024 – Resolution Fixing the Tax Levy in Carroll County, Tennessee, for the Fiscal Year Beginning July 1, 2024 and Ending June 30, 2025.
15. Resolution 6-08-2024 – Resolution Making Appropriations to the Various Funds, Departments, Institutions, Offices, and Agencies of Carroll County, Tennessee, for the Fiscal Year Beginning July 1, 2024 and Ending June 30, 2025.
