County Commission Meets Monday
From the Oct 7, 2025 e-EditionThe Carroll County Commission meets Monday, October 13 at the Carroll County Government Complex at 7 p.m. The following items are on the agenda:
Amend Resolution 6-08-2025 making appropriations to non-profit organizations of Carroll County, Tennessee for the FY 25-26. This would amend the verbiage providing $1,500 to TN Rehab Center instead of $500.
Resolution 10-01-2025 reappoints Dr. Lee Carter, MD, as Carroll County Medical Examiner. This is a five-year term with eligibility for reappointment.
Resolution 10-02-2025 allows the Carroll County Emergency Management Agency to recoup expenses for services. In essence, EMA is allowed to bill for and receive any public and/or private funds for any/all services rendered, equipment or supplies used, or expenses incurred as a result of dealing with a hazardous operation that was caused as a result of any criminal act, any terrorist event, and/or any threat of the aforementioned incidents.
Resolution 10-03-2025 reappoints Mike Cary, Jeruna Cozart, and Anna Todd to the Carroll County Health and Educational Facilities Board for a four-year term.
Resolution 10-04-2025 amends the Grant Fund Budget for Sheriff’s Office to account for a Mental Health Grant in the amount of $12,133.
Resolution 10-05-2025 amends the General Fund Budget for Sheriff’s Office to account for an unspent SRO Grant in the amount of $33,125 to be returned to the state.
Resolution 10-06-2025 amends the General Fund Budget for the Health Department to account for funds omitted in error from the original budget in the amount of $26,060.
Resolution 10-07-2025 amends the General Fund Budget for Circuit Court to account for the replacement of seven desktop computers and two laptop computers for court staff due to operating system support. The amount of $8,145 for Data Processing Equipment comes from the Fund Balance.
Resolution 10-08-2025 would provide for education incentive payments to County Legislative Body Members of Carroll County Government. This would include $600 commissioners who complete each year at least 8 hours of continuing education training.
