HUNTINGDON — The Carroll County Chamber of Commerce hosts its forty-second annual Membership Banquet Monday, October 27, at the Carroll County Civic Center. The evening begins at 6:15 p.m. with a silent auction. The banquet follows at 6:30 p.m.

“The Chamber Banquet has an important tradition of celebrating exceptional accomplishment, dedication and excellence across various fields,” said Chamber President Brad Hurley. “It provides an opportunity to acknowledge individuals and businesses who have demonstrated outstanding performance, innovation or leadership.”

That night, the chamber recognizes General Tommy Baker as the 2025 Carroll Countian of the Year and Dan Bradfield as 2025 Business Person of the Year. Bennett Farms is 2025 Agri-Business/Farmer of the Year, and Walmart is the 2025 Carroll County Business of the Year. Colonel James Harding receives the Distinguished Career and Leadership Award, and Bethel Lady Wildcat Coach Chris Nelson receives special recognition for the NAIA National Coach of the Year Award.

“Beginning in 1986, with the selection of Dale Kelley as Carroll Countian of the Year and Gary Simmons as Business Person of the Year, the list of previous honorees is a true list of prominent residents of this county,” said Hurley. “Together, we build a stronger, more compassionate county by recognizing the people who make a difference each day.”

The Carroll County Chamber of Commerce urges chamber members to join them at this year’s banquet honoring Carroll County’s best. Tickets are $25 and are available from Chamber Board members or by contacting the Chamber office at (731) 986-4664 by Thursday, October 23.
