County Chamber to Honor Six Individuals, Businesses

From the Oct 15, 2024 e-EditionHUNTINGDON — The Carroll County Chamber of Commerce is hosting its 41st Annual Membership Banquet on Monday, October, 28, 2024, at the Carroll County Civic Center. The evening begins at 6:15 p.m. with the silent auction, followed by the banquet at 6:30.
“The Chamber began recognizing deserving Carroll Countians at the Chamber Banquet in 1986; today, honoring our citizens and businesses is the focal point of our banquet, said Chamber President Brad Hurley. “This year the Chamber will recognize six individuals and businesses.”
The Chamber will recognize Willie Huffman as the 2024 Carroll Countian of the Year and Chris Gurley as 2024 Business Person of the Year. Blackketter Farms will be honored as the 2024 Agi-Business/Farmer of the Year, and Dynamix Physical Therapy of Huntingdon and McKenzie has been selected as the 2024 Carroll County Business of the Year. Phil Williams will receive the Distinguished Career & Leadership Award and Lori Dillahunty will receive the Carroll County Champion Award.
“When you review the previous recipients of their awards it clearly is a list of who and who’s. These individuals and businesses have played a key role in making Carroll County what it is today. We are very proud of the previous recipients of the Chamber Awards for their dedication, leadership and commitment to making Carroll County a better place to live and work,” said Hurley. “Carroll County is truly indebted to these individuals and businesses.”

Tickets are $25 and are available from Chamber Board members or by contacting the Chamber office at 986-4664. We are requesting tickets be purchased by noon on Thursday, October 24, 2024. Tickets are $25 each.
