The Carroll County Commission Meets Monday

The Carroll County Commission meets Monday, November 11 at 7 p.m. There are three resolutions on the agenda. Resolution 11-01-2024 amends the FY25 Budget: Library Technology Grant for $1,930; Election Grant for $ 23,313.15; Sheriff Dept Government Highway Safety Operations Grant for $18,525.23; Carroll Academy $ 47,250 with the sale of equipment/vehicles; and County Clerk Reserve Account for $ 6,300 for the purchase of credit/debit card readers. Resolution 11-02-2024 recognizes Investigator Jackie Wallace’s retirement and allowing him to retain his service weapon. Resolution 11-03-2024 authorizing an actuarial study to determine the financial impact of the hazardous duty supplemental benefit on Carroll County Government.

Also Dwayne Tordsen will be recognized as the 2024 Re-Entry Program’s Facilitator of the Year. Scout Troup 73 will conduct a flag ceremony and there will be an election of notaries. The meeting takes place at the county government complex in Huntingdon.
