County General Sessions Report
HUNTINGDON (August 5) — The following cases were heard in Carroll County General Sessions Court on Wednesday, August 5.
The following cases resulted in a guilty plea or finding:
Lee Matthew Cook, Moore Creek Road, Bruceton, guilty – lesser charge, Evading Arrest, $250 fine, 11/29, supervised probation for sentence, may become unsupervised probation for balance upon satisfaction of conditions of probation, cognitive behavioral training course; dismissed, Reckless Driving; dismissed, Drivers to Exercise Due Care.
Octavio Garcia Guzman, Laurel, Miss., guilty, Resist Stop, Arrest, Search (No Weapon), no fine, 10 days, ICE detainer; dismissed, Evading Arrest; dismissed, Driving Without License.
Gwendela Hampton, Rosey Street, Camden, guilty, Driving While License Suspended – Second or Subsequent, $150 fine, six months, supervised probation for six months until conditions met, must obtain a valid driver’s license as a condition of sentence; guilty, Vehicles/Streetcars Stop at All Stop Signs, $150 fine, six months, supervised probation for six months until conditions met, must obtain a valid driver’s license as a condition of sentence; guilty, Financial Responsibility Law, $150 fine, six months, supervised probation for six months until conditions met, must obtain a valid driver’s license as a condition of sentence.
Robin E. Samples, Oak Street, Kenton, Tenn., guilty – lesser charge, Simple Possession/Casual Exchange, no fine, 11/29, payment arrangements through clerk’s office, supervised probation for 11/29.
The following case resulted in pre-trial diversion:
Emily Kee, Walnut Circle Apartments, McKenzie, pre-trial diversion, Retailer Sale of Alcohol to Minors, six months, review date is February 3, 2027, no fine, six months, supervised probation until conditions met, report to jail on August 14.
The following cases were dismissed:
Shayna Casey, George Butler Road, Atwood, dismissed, Probation Violation – Booked.
Candy Glover, Walnut Grove Road, Milan, dismissed, Probation Violation – Booked.
Misty Lynn Holland, Mountain Creek Road, Camden, dismissed, Simple Possession/Casual Exchange.
Rockel Humphrey, Highway 104, Cedar Grove, dismissed, Probation Violation – Booked.
The following cases were rescheduled:
