Carroll County Circuit Court Indictments
From the Jan 21, 2025 e-EditionHUNTINGDON (January 6) — The Grand Jury of the Carroll County Circuit Court returned the following indictments during the January 6 meeting of the Grand Jury.
Brenna D. Clark, Aggravated Child Endangerment. Clark was charged by knowingly placing a child in eminent danger while in the presence of methamphetamine.
Melvin Lee Donnell, Sale of Methamphetamine. The indictment indicates Donnell did knowingly sell a controlled substance on April 29, 2024.
Sara Ernestine Durrance, Aggravated Child Neglect or Endangerment. The indictment indicates Durrance, on June 2, 2024, left a child, aged 8 or under, in the care of a person whom she knew had abused children in the past.
Ayanna Vitray Hicks, Forgery, Attempt to Commit Especially Aggravated Kidnapping. The indictment indicates Hicks attempted to defraud Huntingdon Primary School by forging the name of another person on the visitor log. She is also charged with attempting to take custody of her children from a facility, where they were staying, while those children were in the custody and care of the Department of Children’s Services.
James Latron Horton, Sale of Meth. The indictment indicates Horton sold 26 grams of crystal-like substances containing meth on April 16 and May 21, 2024.
Justin Turner Hunley, Violation of Order of Protection. The indictment indicates Hunley text a subject, who had an order of protection against him.
Vannessa June, Aggravated Assault, Domestic Assault. The indictment indicates that on November 12, June struck a family member and caused serious bodily injury.
Michael G. Moore, Aggravated Burglary. The indictment indicates Moore entered a Bruceton residence with the intent to commit theft, assault and was charged with Aggravated Burglary.
Gina Marie Pierce, Possession of Meth, Possession of a Firearm During Commission of Felony. The indictment indicates Pierce, on April 8, 2024, did sell methamphetamine, possessed Alprazolam - a controlled substance, marijuana, had drug paraphernalia in her possession, and had a firearm during the commission of a felony.
David Ray Pruitt, Rape, Solicitation of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor. According to the indictment, Pruitt had sex with a minor between the ages of 13 and 18, and coerced the minor through oral and electronic communication between a time period of September 1, 2023 and September 5, 2024.
Charles Joseph Rowden, Possession of Meth with Intent to Deliver, Drug Paraphernalia. The indictment indicates Rowden had .5 grams or more of meth on October 21, 2024 with the intent to deliver and also had possession of drug paraphernalia.
