Carroll County Students Attend Youth Leadership Session

Youth Leadership Carroll County (YLCC) has returned, and with it comes opportunities for 25 high school students to learn key financial and leadership skills to take with them post-graduation.
The program’s first session was Wednesday, November 12, at the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce.
Each of Carroll County’s five schools were represented by five students, each selected based on their leadership qualities inside and outside of the classroom.
Representing Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central High School are Madison Holder, Brody Huff, Olivia Scott, Sarah Smith and Seth Thomas.
Representing Clarksburg School are Ava Akins, Aylssa Belew, Orion Cary, Jayanna Martin and Nathan Steele.
Representing Huntingdon High School are Wyatt Bergman, Briley Brown, Madison Dill, Keran Gordon and Asia Melton.
Representing McKenzie High School are Gracie Aird, Carli Beeler, Brody Berryhill, Tobey Brooks and Carlton Townes.
Representing West Carroll Jr/Sr High School are Kahli Baum, Kalee Coleman, Arlexis Perry, Chandler Rimmer and Hayden Weaver.
YLCC extends through the winter and concludes with a small graduation ceremony during students’ final session.
