From the Nov 18, 2025 e-EditionMcKENZIE— Funeral services for Dan Reaves, Sr, are on Friday, November 21, 2025, at 2p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 21, 2025, from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will follow at Seminary Cemetery.
Mr. Reaves, 78, died at his residence on Saturday, November 15, 2025. He was a retired factory worker and carpenter. He was born in Shelbyville, Indiana to Homer and Hazel Williamson Reaves on February 3, 1947.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Connie Brinson Reaves, three daughters, Kathy Gahimer of St Paul, Indiana, Rachel Reaves, and Miranda Reaves, both of McKenzie, one son, Dan Reaves, Jr., a sister, Marsha Greenwood of Shelbyville, Indiana, and Tom (Bonnie) Reaves of Shelbyville, Indiana, six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a grandchild, and a great-grandchild.
