Ms. Strayhorn, 59, died at her residence on Saturday, October 11, 2025. She was a member of Johnson Temple CME Church, a graduate of the McKenzie High School Class of 1985, and a bartender/ waitress at LL’s Bar & Grill. She was born in McKenzie, on February 17, 1966, to the late John Tharpe and Minnie Pearl Haynes.
She is survived by her children, Wynter Strayhorn and Herivia Strayhorn, her brother Keith Haynes and three grandchildren, Da’neria Strayhorn, My’Ami Strayhorn and Bra’shelle Strayhorn.
