Dilla's Boutique Opens in McKenzie on February 1, 2025

McKENZIE (February 1) — Dilla’s Boutique held its grand opening on Saturday, February 1 at its 181 S. Main Street, McKenzie location.

Jackelyne Padilla opened the new boutique inside her family’s business, which is now known as Dilla’s Sewing and Boutique. The new boutique offers event, pageant, and prom dresses. Plus, the business offers on-site alterations.

Roberto Padilla and his wife, Hilda, opened Dilla’s Sewing in 2013 across from E.W. James Supermarket. The family-owned business provides custom-made clothing and alterations. Roberta said the business made dance uniforms, swimwear and seat covers under contract for vendors. He also performs custom alterations of clothes, does embroidery and creates custom-made t-shirts.
The family consists of Roberto, Hilda, and children, Stephanie, Allison, Ariadna and Jackelyne, who is an MHS graduate and a freshman at Bethel University.
The McKenzie Chamber of Commerce hosted the ribbon-cutting.
Mayor Ryan Griffin welcomed the new business to McKenzie and wished them well. Monica Heath, executive director of the McKenzie Industrial Board, offered the support of the McKenzie Chamber to the new business.
