McKENZIE, Tenn. - Funeral services for Donald K. Drewry are Monday, May 12, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 11. 2025 at 5 p.m. -8 p.m. and Monday, 11 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Brother Kenny Carr is the officiant and Dillon Drewry, Logan Drewry, Luke Scott, Ryan Drewry, Shannon Drewry and Grant Chandler are pallbearers.
Mr. Drewry, 74, died at his residence on Friday, May 9, 2025. He was born in McKenzie, Tenn., on February 24, 1951, to Harris and Laverne Galey Drewry. He was a member of First Baptist Church McKenzie and a retired certified public accountant.
He is survived by his son, Casey (Terri) Drewry of McKenzie, two daughters, Kim (Nicky) Scott of Mixie and Amanda (Joey) King of McKenzie, two sisters, Ann (Wayford) Washburn of McKenzie and Peggy (David) McClure of Houston, Texas, a brother, Jerry Drewry of McKenzie, six grandchildren, Dillon (Savannah) Drewry, Logan (Meredith) Drewry, Allie Watson, Karlie Carroll, Addie Scott and Luke Scott, nine great-grandchildren, Silas Drewry, Maverick Drewry, Anderson Drewry, Trace Townes, Tripp Townes, Bentlee Townes, Greyson Shafer, Tate Shafer and Cassidy Shafer.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Sandra Drewry, his sister, Judy Chandler, and his great-granddaughter, Selah Drewry.
