From the Mar 31, 2026 e-EditionMrs. Donna Fay Boyd, 69, of Bruceton died Sunday, March 22, 2026, while attending church services.
The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Bruceton Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. The family has asked that everyone in attendance dress in casual clothing.
A graveside celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. in the Collier Cemetery (1100 Collier Rd, Martin, TN) on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, with Bro. Johnathan Vaughn officiating.
Mrs. Boyd was born September 10, 1956, in Chicago, IL to the late Robert Bennett and Doris McGehee Hendrix. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Curtis Bennett. Along with her profound love for Jesus and all others she had a big heart and enjoyed crocheting and gardening.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years Jeff Boyd two daughters, Dana Castleman of Columbia, TN, and Sara Rogers (Jamey “Nub”) of Bruceton, one sister, Diane Garner of Dresden, and three grandchildren, Janna Castleman, Lexi Rogers, and Ellie Rogers.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to any of these charities.
