From the Dec 9, 2025 e-EditionMcKENZIE — Services for Mrs. Doris Marie Sanders Cooper Hensley, 93, of McKenzie, Tenn., were held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home of Gleason. Burial was in Walnut Grove Cemetery in the Cades community.
She was born September 24, 1932 and died November 29, 2025.
Mrs. Hensley is survived by her son, Jere (Kay) Cooper of McKenzie, TN. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Stephen Hodges, Billy Hodges, Jay Cooper, and Ryan Cooper. She leaves behind eleven great-grandchildren. Mrs. Hensley was preceded in death by her two husbands, Hulon B. Cooper and Jimmie Hensley, daughter, Beverly Sue Hodges, parents, Claude and Allie Sanders, and brother, Junior Sanders.
