Funeral services were Friday, September 13, 2024, in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Bro. Wendell Owens officiating. Interment was in New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Decatur County.
Douglas “Doug” Glover was born September 24, 1942, in Covington, Tennessee to the late John Wesley and Ocie Lee “Hatcher” Glover. He worked in shipping and receiving for H.I.S. He was a member of New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church in Decatur County. He was preceded in death by 8 Siblings.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Peggy Glover, a daughter, Bonita McMackins (Mike) of Buena Vista; two sons, Greg Rimmer and Elvis Glover (Tracy) both of Buena Vista; he also leaves one sister and two brothers as well as eight grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
