Dresden beats Gleason in Storm Shortened Game, 21-0

DRESDEN (September 11) — On the 25th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, the Dresden Lions and Gleason Bulldogs held a special flag demonstration to honor and remember the lives that were lost 25 years ago. The football game was cut short due to storms in the area. The Lions defeated the Bulldogs 21-0. 


The flag was presented by WoodmenLife insurance and local law enforcement, firefighters and other first responders of the two communities. 


Dresden's Ayden Flora was easily the star of the game with 2 catches and 75 yards with 2 touchdowns. Dresden's Caden Mount led all rushers with 5 carries 33 yards and a touchdown.
