Dynamix Physical Therapy Provides Quality Healthcare

Dynamix Physical Therapy of McKenzie opened in 2017. Will Record is the clinical director of the McKenzie facility, located on 103 Main Street, South, in the old Fred’s store. Record is a native of Dyer and now resides in Jackson with his wife, Mallory and daughter, Mary Lee.
Business hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday.
The team of therapists, PTAs and technicians are passionate about serving the community of McKenzie with the elite physical therapy services, including manual, hands-on therapy, advanced dry needling and sports medicine. Dry-needling is similar to acupuncture, said Mr. Record.
Dynamix offers free consultations and works with area doctors and surgeons to provide follow-up care.
Mr. Record said the local staff works to provide post-surgical needs for patients to regain mobility and relieve pain. Back and neck pain, sports medicine, and women’s health are some of the most-provided practices.
The center has two physical therapists, Mr. Record and Kendra Gilmore, and an assistant, Jessica Williams.
The McKenzie location is one of 17, including one in Huntingdon. The main service area is McKenzie, Gleason, Dresden, Atwood, Trezevant, and Henry.
Dynamix in McKenzie provides sports medicine services for all sporting events at McKenzie and Gleason Schools.
Mr. Record said the mission at Dynamix is to be one of the bright spots of the patient’s day.
The team is also actively involved within the community of McKenzie and participate in the following local events and organizations: Carroll County Chamber of Commerce, McKenzie Chamber of Commerce, McKenzie Rotary Club, volunteers with local schools (including providing some volunteer services to McKenzie Schools, Gleason High School and West Carroll), guest presenters at the local senior center for “Lunch and Learn”, and participates in the McKenzie Christmas parade and Fall Festival.
