Early Voting Begins in Carroll County

CARROLL COUNTY (April 15) — Early voting for the May 2026 primary election began today.
Carroll County residents wishing to cast an early ballot must vote through the Carroll County Election Commission Office, located at 625 High Street in Huntingdon (behind the Carroll County Government Office).
Voters have from April 15-April 30 to cast an early vote. Early voting hours are as listed:
- Monday through Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Saturday: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
To vote in a political party's primary election, a person MUST be a bona fide member of, be affiliated with, or declare allegiance with the political party for which they are voting.
It is a violation of Tennessee Code Annotated Section 2-7-115(b) and punishable as a crime under Tennessee Code Annotated 2-19-107 to do otherwise.
The 2026 Primary Election is Tuesday, May 5. On the ballot are county and school board offices.
