Early Voting Continues in Tennessee

TENNESSEE (October 21) — Approximately 3,275 Carroll Countians have cast their votes since early voting started on October 16 in Tennessee. Early voting continues until October 31.
In Carroll County, voting at the Election Commission Office is 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Friday and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, during the period of October 16 to October 31. After the early voting period, the election day is November 5 at the respective local precincts.
The Election Commission Office is in the rear of the Carroll County Office Complex, High Street, Huntingdon.
All voters must present a federal- or state-issued photo ID, unless an exception applies.
On the ballot are federal, state, and local general elections.
Presidential candidates are: Donald J. Trump (R), Kamala D. Harris (D), Jay Bowman (I), Claudia De La Cruz (I), Rachele Fruit (I), Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. (I), Jill Stein (I).
U.S. Senate candidates are: Marsha Blackburn (R), Gloria Johnson (D), Tharon Chandler, Pamela Moses (I), Hastina Robinson (I).
U.S. House of Representatives District 8: David Kustoff (R), Sarah Freeman (D), James Hart (I).
Tennessee State Senate District 24: John D. Stevens (R), no candidate for the Democrats.
Tennessee House of Representatives District 76: Tandy Darby (R), James Hart (I).
Tennessee House of Representatives District 79: Brock Martin (R).
Atwood
Alderman (Vote for 2): Ricky Long and Gerald Mauldin.
Bruceton
Alderman (Vote for 3): Chris Cole, Doug Fischer, Renee Ford-Ward, Robert T. Scotty Higdon, and Cliff Sturdivant.
Hollow Rock
Alderman (Vote for 3): Andy Baker, Ashley Tyler Cook, Vivian Grooms, Jeremy King, and Ronnie Webb.
Hollow Rock Alderman (Unexpired term): T. Richard Goodwin.
Huntingdon
Mayor (Vote for 1): Chad Edwards, Nina Smothers.
Council (Vote for 4): Will Atkins, Chad Barnhart, Rachel Carter, Adam Crews, Lori Dillahunty, Daniel Eubanks, and Barbara Wilkes Knuutila.
McKenzie
Councilman (Vote for 3): Drew Beeler, Jill Holland, Karen T. Fowler, Tim McBride, and Jessie Townes.
Trezevant
Mayor: Bobby James Blaylock
Alderman (Vote for 2): Robert Argo and Leon Lyell.
As of Friday, October 18, the first two days of voting netted a 1,470 voters in Carroll County.
