Early Voting for August Election Ends Saturday
From the Jul 28, 2026 e-EditionCARROLL COUNTY (July 27) — The early voting period for the August 6 election ends Saturday, August 1 at noon. Early voting from July 17 through Monday afternoon totaled 1,461 ballots, according to the Carroll County Election Commission.
The bulk of the ballots, 1,171, were cast by Republican voters. Democrats have submitted 243 ballots, while 47 cast general ballots.
Carroll County residents wishing to cast an early ballot must vote at the Carroll County Election Commission Office at 625 High Street in Huntingdon (in the rear of the Carroll County Complex).
Voting hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Election day is Thursday, August 6 at the respective local precincts.
All voters must present a federal- or state-issued photo ID, unless an exception applies. College student IDs, non-U.S. Citizen IDs and IDs issued by local governments or other states are not accepted.
