From the May 26, 2026 e-EditionSAUCIER, MISS. (formerly Carroll County) -Edward Watson Haynes, 70, passed away on May 14, 2026, in Saucier, Mississippi. He was born in Fairbanks, Alabama, on April 1, 1956, to the late Johnny and Betty Haynes.
Eddie graduated from Huntingdon High School in Carroll County, Tenn. on May 23, 1974. He joined the United States Army and served in South Korea. Eddie was honorably discharged from the Army on June 29, 1982. After leaving the Army, Eddie worked for Palmer Tools for 40 years and then moved on to Mississippi, where he was a member of the Southern Coast Riders for 28 years.
Eddie is preceded by his loving wife, Terry Haynes. He is survived by his two sisters, Katherine (James) Tomlinson and Julia Haynes; brother, Robert Haynes, and numerous beloved family members.
