Esches Have Gleason’s July Yard of the Month
From the Aug 6, 2024 e-Edition
Gleason’s July “Yard of the Month” goes to Shey and Janet Esch at 207 Mill Street. They purchased the property in 2006 and did months of restoration to bring it to its current glory. The home is thought to have been built over 100 years ago and was considered to be one of the finest homes in Gleason, located near Nance’s Mill that made potato hampers. The Esches’ home is fully restored and decorated in patriotic fashion or with each season. The city appreciates their efforts to make Gleason a great town to live in. A generous gift card for a Gleason business was presented to them. The award is sponsored by the City of Gleason and Mayor Charles Anderson.
