McKENZIE, Tenn. — Funeral services for Evelyn Bush Wilson are on Monday, December 8, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Blooming Grove Cemetery - McKenzie.
Mrs. Wilson, 85, died at her residence on Wednesday, December 3, 2025. She was born on February 25, 1940, in McKenzie, Tenn., to Buck and Ruby Carter Bush. She is a member of Blooming Grove Methodist Church and was a custodian at McKenzie Middle School for 20 years.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, James “Shep” Wilson, a daughter, Teresa (Gerald) Hall, a son, Troy Wilson, and a sister, Joan (Joe) Robertson. Chris (Kimberly) Hall and Whitney (Dustin) Whitworth are her grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren are Taylor Hall, Maggie Hall, Mallie Whitworth, Gemma Whitworth, and Creek Whitworth.
