Mrs. Bowden, 83, died at West Tenn. Healthcare Volunteer Hospital on Saturday, May 24, 2025. She was the postmaster at Henry, Tenn. for the United States Postal Service. She was born in McKenzie on May 2, 1942, to Andrew Franklin and Brooxie Inez Blaylock Runions.
She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Gallimore of Dresden, three grandchildren, Kimberly Rea, Jenny (Craig) Cable, and Jamie (Anthony) Bruce, eight great-grandchildren, Asia Hicks, Anthony Gallimore, Nicholas Gallimore, Audrey Rea, Amelia Rea, Andrew Bruce, Alissa Bruce, and Keagan Moore, and two great-great-grandchildren, Aaron Hicks and Taylynn Marie Gallimore.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Curtis Aden Bowden, a daughter, Brenda Arnold, two brothers, Ray Runions and Roy Runions, a sister, Ruth Pruitt, and two grandchildren, Michael Gallimore and Brian Gallimore. Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home.
