Fillies Answer McKenzie Rally for Sweep

HUNTINGDON (September 25) — Huntingdon High School hosted McKenzie Thursday for a district volleyball match. The Fillies coasted in the first two sets, but the Lady Rebels took an early lead in the third. Huntingdon regained momentum and the set reached 24-24 before the Fillies earned two points in a row to complete the set comeback and the match sweep.
Huntingdon's set wins were 25-12, 25-11 and 26-24, respectively.
Filly Taylor Canovan had two kills, nine aces, seven digs and 26 assists. Sunny Carter had seven kills and an ace. Millie Singleton and Cruz Perez each had seven kills and a dig. Ellie Wilson had four kills, four aces and a dig. Knox Bennett had an ace and eight digs. Emalynn Maness had three kills. Kylie Tippitt had an ace and five digs. Meredith Perritt had an ace and two digs. Grier Bartholomew had three digs.
Lady Rebel Jaycee Stafford had nine kills and an ace. Kynadie Brown had a kill, two digs and 12 assists. Addison Milam had three kills, three aces and a dig. Molly French had a kill and three aces. Haylee Beard had a kill.
