Fillies Edge Lady Rebels in District Semifinal, 1-0

HUNTINGDON (October 8) - Huntingdon High School hosted McKenzie Tuesday for a District 12A semifinal. The Fillies scored the lone goal of the contest late in the first half and held on for the 1-0 victory.
The win sent Huntingdon to Thursday's District 12A championship game against Westview in Martin. The loss ended McKenzie's season.
Abbi Sykes scored Huntingdon's goal.
Huntingdon goalkeeper Maddie Brinkman recorded ten saves in the win.
Lady Rebel goalkeeper Rachel Essary had seven saves.
