Fillies End Season with 1-0 Loss to Stewart County
From the May 19, 2026 e-EditionDOVER (May 11) — The Huntingdon High School Fillies ended their season Monday with a 1-0 loss to Stewart County in the opening round of the Region 6AA Softball Tournament.
The Lady Rebels scored the lone run in the bottom of the fifth.
Huntingdon's Kylie Tippitt was 2-for-3. Knox Bennett was 1-for-3 with a triple. Ellie Wilson was 1-for-2 with a double, and Aubry Castleman was 1-for-3 with a double.
Lady Rebel Ema Borden was 3-for-3 with a double and an RBI. Mallory Walker was 2-for-3. Addison Arnold was 1-for-4 with a run scored. Cara Bucciarelli and Faith Dacus were each 1-for-3. Neely Cook was 1-for-4.
Ema Borden earned the complete-game shutout for Stewart County, allowing five hits while walking none and striking out six.
Marcie Mitchell took the complete-game loss for the Fillies, allowing one earned run on nine hits while walking none and striking out one.
