Fillies Fall to Lady Chargers, 3-1

HUNTINGDON (September 24) - Huntingdon High School hosted Westview Tuesday for a consequential district soccer match. Each 2-0 in District 12A, the winner would claim the top seed in the upcoming tournament.
The Fillies struck first at the very end of the first half, but the Lady Chargers scored three times in the second half to claim the 3-1 victory and the 3-0 district record.
Huntingdon finishes 2-1 in the district, ahead of McKenzie (1-2) and South Fulton (0-3).
Juli Harris scored the lone goal for the Fillies on a free kick.
Fillies goalkeeper Maddie Brinkman had 23 saves in the loss.
