Fillies Sweep Fulton City on Senior Night

HUNTINGDON (September 30) — The Huntingdon High School Fillies wrapped the regular volleyball season Tuesday with a dominant 3-0 win over Fulton City and celebrated Senior Night.

Prior to the match, four senior Fillies players were honored on the court, joined by family.

Sunny Carter was escorted by Scott Carter and Joyce Carter. Meredith Perritt was escorted by parents Mark and Misty Perritt. Millie Singleton was escorted by parents Marty and Sherri Singleton. Kylie Tippitt was escorted by parents Brannon and Summer Tippitt.

The team also took a moment to honor Fulton City senior Ashlyn Virgin.

Huntingdon swept the match in straight sets, 25-16, 25-9 and 25-8.

Filly Millie Singleton had ten kills, a dig, two assists and a block. Taylor Canovan had five kills, three aces, six digs and 27 assists. Ellie Wilson had seven kills, three aces, two digs and a block. Knox Bennett had a kill, three aces and eight digs. Meredith Perritt had a kill, three aces and four digs. Wylie Kee had five kills and a block.

Cruz Perez had three kills and two digs. Sunny Carter had two kills and two aces. Grier Bartholomew had five digs. Kylie Tippitt had four digs. Emalynn Maness had three kills, an assist and a block.
