High Winds Lead to Large Fire at Shomaker Lumber

The McKenzie Fire Department responded to Shomaker Lumber Company on Wednesday, March 18, for a fire that was at risk of spreading due to high winds. It started as a controlled burn. Additional water tankers were requested from other fire departments for the scene.
