The Carroll County Chamber of Commerce holds an America 250 event Saturday, July 18 from 9-11:30 a.m., recognizing the day the Declaration of Independence was read to the public in Boston for the first time. In celebration, Carroll County officials will read the Declaration of Independence at the Carroll County Court House.

Gleason Happy Birthday America Celebration
A Happy Birthday America 250th Anniversary celebration is in downtown Gleason on Friday, July 3. A parade begins at 6 p.m. Local talent begins at 6:30 p.m. featuring Hadley Garrison and Jade Kowalewski. A classic car cruise-in is on Magnolia Avenue at 7 p.m. Fireworks are at 9 p.m.
